Enrique Tarrio said that they were attacked while returning from a  DC bar after watching the election. A group of people blocked their path and started stabbing them with knives. The suspects fled away without being seen.

“Beatty seemed to be their main target. Had the three Proud Boys not been there with her, she might have died,” said Loh. Beatty is an anti-abortion activist and was charged for throwing paint on a BLM mural in NYC. She repeated and recorded the same act as soon as she was released.

A tweet on the official Twitter account of BLM says they’ve nothing to do with these attacks, and all those who’re associating the false allegations with the BLM group must be ashamed. Later in a press release, the officials said the suspect’s affiliation with BLM is not yet confirmed.

The attacker’s motive is not clear yet, but it looks like a hate crime for political reasons.
