QAnon Conspiracy Theorists Say Oprah Was Wearing An Ankle Monitor During Interview

While the rest of the world debate over the revelations from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s major interview on Sunday night, QAnon supporters are busy with their own conspiracy theory.

They believe that during the interview, Oprah sat down with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex while wearing an ankle monitor underneath her leather boots.

The conspiracy behind the ankle monitor follows the long-believed secret arrest that the Queen of Talk, along with many other powerful celebrities, is part of a child sex trafficking ring.

A popular QAnon channel on messaging service app Telegram raised the question to its 200,000 subscribers while showing an image of her boots and garnered a slew of replies.

“So obvious, first few minutes she was strategically keeping both her feet behind that little table then got comfortable or forgot about need to conceal it …she should fire the camera man,” wrote one Telegram user.

“People keep arguing that it’s a microphone pack… but why would that be on your ankle?” pointed another.

One agreed, responding, “At the furthest point away from the mouth, and where the microphone would pick up on any time she repositioned herself, in her seat? I don’t think so.”

Others pointed out that Oprah allegedly kept her feet behind a table and wearing clothes that covered her head to toe.

The allegation first came to light in early 2020, when a video showing her cooking at home while on lockdown also supposed to show a hidden monitor strapped to her ankle.

In response, Oprah issued a statement on Twitter after her name began trending on the platform.

“Just got a phone call that my name is trending,” she wrote.

“And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It’s NOT TRUE. Haven’t been raided, or arrested. Just sanitizing and self-distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody.”
