Alright, let’s be honest.
2020 is set for a really unpleasant beginning. Australia was ablaze, all expectations of peace between America and Iran have been broken, and brutality in the Middle East is inescapable. We’re scarcely 2 months in, and the world is confronting significant emergencies that are as of now carrying mishap and brutality to millions. Coronavirus has already caused more than 1000 deaths and 2 weeks ago the famous NBA player, Kobe Bryant also left us in a tragic helicopter crash accident.
Not only that, we are sorry to write about the loss of another beautiful soul, Raphael Coleman, the child star of Nanny McPhee who died today at the age of 25 and that too without ‘prior health problems’.
His stepfather Carsten Jensen wrote on Facebook that Raphael passed away on Friday after he was collapsed while jogging. The former child entertainer kicked the bucket without ‘earlier medical issues’, Mr. Jensen affirmed. His mother also expressed her grief on Twitter and wrote, “Rest in peace my beloved son Raphael Coleman, aka Iggy Fox. ”
Raphael Coleman got fame when he played Eric Brown in the 2005’s Nanny McPhee film alongside Emma Thompson. After his appearance in Nanny McPhee as Eric Brown, he kept on gaining fame as he got featured in the 2009 American horror film, It’s Alive, as Daniel Davis.
Raphael ran the social media for the Extinction Rebellion eco-group under the name Iggy Fox and spoke at various demonstrations. Extinction Rebellion also took it to twitter and expressed their condolences with the family of the departed soul.
They wrote, “He was 25, had given up a career in science to join XR and fought hard for the cause, especially for Indigenous rights. ‘Iggy will be deeply missed by us all.”
At 18 he ventured out to Thailand where he sought after his enthusiasm for science and became a biologist. He later went to Costa Rica and Indonesia where he qualified as a diver before working for Extinction Rebellion.
In an interview given to The Hourglass, Extinction Rebellion-supported independent newspaper, he talked about his desire and dreams for the ‘future’. He said: ‘I’d quite like a future. Right now, my future is on fire, and in Brazil, they’re killing the firefighters.’
Rest in peace dear angel. Of course, you have inspired millions of young people out there and you will always be missed.
