34-year-old rapist flees hospital after knowing the 11-year-old girl he brought to the hospital is pregnant.

Wendell Sanchez from Louisiana decamps from the hospital after doctors discovered that the 11-year-old girl whom he brought in complaining of stomach pain is pregnant.

According to the police, the hospital staff alerted the cops on Sunday about the molestation of a child. Responding officers discovered that a 34-year-old Wendell Sanchez brought a girl to the emergency who was complaining about stomach pains and was waiting outside in the car.

When cops arrived at the hospital, Sanchez ran off to a nearby apartment complex, leaving his car behind in the hospital.

He led police on a car chase followed by a foot pursuit, but in the end, the police were able to track him and arrested him, who was sitting on a patio.

When the cops arrested Sanchez, he had drugs and drug paraphernalia on him.

He was charged with dozen criminal counts, including first-degree rape with a victim under the age of 13, resisting an officer, drug possession, and criminal trespass. 

As the investigation proceeded, authorities discovered that the 11-year-old girl was pregnant, and Sanchez is believed to the father. It is unclear how Sanchez and the victim knew each other; police are also not commenting on the nature of their relationship. 

Early Monday morning, Sanchez is sent to the Ascension Parish Jail and was held on a $540,000 bond.
