Celebrated actor from the hit Twilight series, Robert Pattinson, has reportedly contacted COVID-19.
The shocking news led to the sudden halt in filming for the Blockbuster ‘The Batman.’
According to inside sources, the famed celeb tested positive for COVID-19, only recently. And hence, the movie’s production unit had no other choice but to wrap up filming till he recovers.
Vanity Fair explained how the 34-year-old actor had contracted the virus, right after the movie’s production started filming. And since it’s a movie with such a whopping budget, it makes absolute sense.
Meanwhile, the shocking news came right after MailOnline reported how one member tested positive, from the sets of the blockbuster movie.
Warner Bros released a public statement, claiming in one of its publications how ‘one member tested positive for the deadly virus.’ Hence, they are taking all precautionary measures as well as protocols to contain the spread. For this reason, the filming is paused for the time being.
On the other hand, speculations arose as to who that person could be. And that’s when rumors began flying about how it could be Robert himself. Moreover, that means the 34-year-old actor needs to quarantine himself for 14 days before filming starts again.
With the news making its way out in the open, media sources are entering into a frenzy. There are speculations galore, with many asking Warner Bros and Pattinson’s representatives to confirm the news.
Sources from the sets of the 100 million pound movie claimed how crew members were sent home, following the confirmation.
The movie’s filming was discontinued ever since the Pandemic struck in March. And only recently, it began again. Unfortunately, it seems now that there will be a longer delay.
The filming of The Batman had only recently resumed three days back, after being shut down in early March due to the pandemic.
Get well soon Robert Pattinson 🙏
