Robin William’s daughter is honoring her late father on his 69th birthday by making a series of donations to homeless charities.
The star daughter took to social media to pin the heartfelt gesture that stated:
‘Today would’ve been Dad’s 69th birthday, so to honor him and that glorious number, I will be donating $69.69 to as many local homeless shelters as I can.’
Zelda went on to encourage others to do the same with this light-hearted statement:
Join me if you like, but regardless, know I am wishing you all at least one hearty, immature belly laugh on Dad today.’
Furthermore, Zelda captured several screengrabs and shared them too while documenting all of the donations. All of her efforts were in memory of her late father, who took away his life, at age 63. The heartbreaking incident took place in August 2014, while the famous actor battled Lewy body illness.
Similarly, just two years ago, the famous Oscar winner’s daughter looked back at the great grief and misery she continues to face in light of his tragic anniversary.
‘It’s that time of year again,’ she exclaimed sadly, ‘Everyone who has dealt with loss knows the pain of certain anniversaries, moments full of memory that come round like clockwork and usurp all others, no matter how hard you may try to prepare for or avoid them,’
‘These weeks are the hardest for me, and thus, you’ll see me a lot less, if at all. For all the internet’s good intentions in expressing to me their fondness for dad, it’s very overwhelming to have strangers need me to know how much they cared for him right now. It’s harder still to be expected to reach back.’
The young and bright daughter of one of the world’s beloved actors has also encouraged fans to assist countless homeless people, in memory of her late father.
