The story centers around the wealthy Rose family who suddenly found themselves broke, and forced to move to a small town called Schitt’s Creek, a place Johnny bought as a joke for David’s birthday in 1991.

Eugene Levy and O’Hara took home their first-ever Emmy’s for acting, while Dan Levy and Murphy took home the supporting actor and actress awards.
