Rumors Circled Around Social Media Claiming Bullied Schoolboy From Australia Is Actually 18 Years Old


Rumors about Quaden Bayle’s ages started spreading on social media and claims that he scammed everyone and is in fact, 18 years old.

The young boy from Brisbane captured the hearts of people around the world after his mom posted a heartbreaking video showing the effects of bullying to a child.

His mom, Yarraka Bayles has been an advocate for indigenous issues and dwarfism shared the video of her son Quaden after picking him up from school.

However, days after the video was posted, a conspiracy theory showed up on Twitter claiming that his mom had been lying about his age all along.

The “proof” seemed to have originated from a Facebook user, which showed that Quaden posted pictures of his 18th birthday.

The claim also states that he is an Instagram celebrity and has plenty of money.

This has forced Ms. Bayles to quickly react and offer proof that the rumors are indeed, wrong.

One of the posts she shared is written by a woman who said she has “known Quaden since before this s**t blew up.”

“Ima (sic) say this once and that’s that. I’ve know about Quaden since before this s**t blew up. Yes, he’s 9! Dwarfism is not a joke, is he a model or actor?

“ … so are a lot of kids … That doesn’t mean s**t!” The post states.

Rapper Cardi B also weighed in on the claim, as she posts as video saying that people act up on Instagram everyday, “but it doesn’t mean that kids do not pick on him.”

Supporters were also quick to defend the boy against these claims, and called out the rumor as more bullying, and labeled those who spread it as “shameful.”
