According to a report, a customer filed a complaint recognizing that Wells was doing internet porn.

Wells, who had been on the job for less than a week, said that a “disgruntled employee” filed the complaint about her and caused her the job.

“She used religion and christianity to push adult work like I was Satan in a drive thru window,” Wells wrote on her GoFundMe page.

“It was explained that they thought having me work for them would be bad for business and let me know that there was a complaint made.”

She received the news in a morning call from her manager, who allegedly told her the complainant was a “God-fearing Christian who didn’t feel comfortable giving the venue business – moments before clocking in.

“They couldn’t have even given me a heads-up, or waited until I got there to say something,” she said.

“I just started bawling. I don’t know if it was because I was upset, or I was ticked, or a little bit of both.”

Wells said the hiring manager, April Garcia, was informed of her experience as an online sex worker during the interview process.

“I was very open about it and said, ‘Hey, this is what I do as a job right now and I’ve been doing it since 2017, is this going to cause any problems,” Wells said.

She also said that Garcia assured her that her past employment is “not going to cause any problems”, and that what she does is her business.

Taco Bell issues a statement, clarifying that Wells was fired for violating the store’s “policies and procedures.”

“Taco Bell team members come from diverse backgrounds and experiences and all are welcome into the Taco Bell family,” the statement reads.
