Teacher Guilty Of Seducing Student Wants Law CHANGED To Make Her Affair LEGAL


A substitute teacher from Alabama, who reportedly slept with one of her students off-campus, claims she did nothing wrong and wants the state’s law changed immediately.

24-year-old Kayla D. Safford was accused of carrying out sexual relations away from the school’s premises. However, the teacher denies the allegations against her, claiming she did nothing wrong and that includes sleeping with the pupil.

Kayla reportedly met the student on campus and since then, the two couldn’t seem to get their minds and hands off of each other. Moreover, the former teacher who worked as a substitute was accused of moving ahead with the illegal relationship and violating the bond of trust that she possessed with the pupil.

The pair reportedly met at the Florence High School, located in the state of Alabama in the US.

While the Alabama state law clearly went on to detail how 16 was the minimum age limit for consent and the pupil being 18, the law also mentioned how mentors could still be accused and charged as sex offenders in case they plan on seducing students.

Meanwhile, the substitute teacher’s lawyer has also boldly confirmed how his client just refuses to admit that she engaged in any form of wrongdoing at all.

“Clearly, Miss Safford is guilty of violating this particular trust,” he added.

After the shocking incident, the teacher was booked for her wrongdoing and put into Lauderdale’s County Jail. However, she was soon released upon bail, right after the grand jury indicted her for the felony relating to sex charges.
