California Teacher Under Fire For Making ‘Anti-Asian’ Gesture During Online Class


A teacher is going viral for making the most shocking anti-Asian gesture during her online class on Zoom recently.

Nichole Burkett works as a Spanish teacher as well as the adviser for the class of 2022 in Grant Union High School in Sacramento. But little did anyone know of her racist thoughts and beliefs until now.

Media reports confirmed how the teacher made a daringly insensitive call by choosing to perform anti-Asian gestures in front of her online class last week. Moreover, the shocking video went viral after the incident where viewers can see the teacher doing the unthinkable.

On that note, one student got highly offended by the Spanish teacher’s actions. And that’s when he threatens to leave the class, right after she finishes her heartless performance. “I should leave your class right now!” he boldly exclaims.

Meanwhile, a statement was issued by the Sacramento Bee, Twin Rivers United School District’s spokesperson who called the video highly appalling as well as disappointing.point 294 |
