US Marshals shot dead the main suspect linked to the recent Portland Protest killings.
The renowned Antifa gunman, guilty of killing a Patriot Prayer activist, battled till his last breath. Moreover, the intense shootout took place when the Marshals moved in to make his arrest.
48-year-old Michael Reinoehl admitted to shooting Aaron J. Danielson during a peaceful protest in Portland. Soon, however, things took an ugly turn when Reinoehl opened fire on the right-wing activist.
Just a few days back, Reinoehl came into the spotlight after his own sister turned him in. And that’s when he underwent intense questioning by police officials. Soon, the 48-year-old father confessed to the crime.
And that’s when he entered into a hideout in Washington D.C,. Just this morning, US Marshals stormed into his house to make the arrest and that’s when they received a surprise.
The Antifa gunman indulged in a rather severe shootout.According to witnesses, he fired a good 40 to 50 rounds of bullets. And soon enough, the Federal task force shot him dead.
Federal agents tracked his exact location and whereabouts on Thursday. And that’s because authorities issued a warrant regarding his arrest. Both sides faced a rather serious encounter. But in the end, Reinoehl lost his life, after receiving bullets from one law enforcement officer.
Two witnesses also came forward to confess how they heard and saw the intense battle, from just 150ft away. They claimed the gunman brutally opened fire with his semi-automatic rifle. And that’s when the Marshals returned back the fire, shooting him dead.
According to reports, the shootout took place on Thursday at 7 pm. The exact location of the killing was 3rd Way Southeast, situated in Tanglewilde. This is a small community, present just outside of the district of Lacey, 55 miles away from Seattle.
Other witnesses report how Reinoehl exited his SUV, right after getting blocked from making an escape. This is when he opened fire towards the police. Meanwhile, the 48-year old’s death comes moments after he broke silence during a video interview. And that’s where he confessed to the shooting of Danielson.
