Three Reporters Working At The White House Tested Positive For The Coronavirus


After President Trump’s announcement of contracting the Coronavirus, three White House reporters also tested positive.

According to reports, the 3 journalists were present at the White House, throughout the week.

For this reason, the White House’s medical unit is carrying out contact tracing for all the items. The news comes in through sources from the White House Correspondents Group Association.

As the facts and figures keep increasing, a number of other reporters began quarantining themselves. Moreover, they feel the need to do so as an abundance of exercising caution. The activity continues as they await their COVID-19 results. However, the association did not mention which journalists fell ill due to the pandemic.

The President of WHCA, Zeke Miller, sent out a letter, which he addressed towards the journalists. Here, he urged the reporters to stay clear of the White House, unless they belonged to a press pool or worked within an enclosed space. Mr. Miller also announced that all journalists need to be very vigilant about their health.

All of those who took part in the President’s Rose Garden event need to be extra careful. Similarly, those who participated in any other recent events, need to stay alert.

Meanwhile, coming to Saturday’s event, the figures keep on increasing. Currently, five people who attended the gathering on Saturday tested positive. This includes two Senators from the Republican side.

On the other hand, the White House recently announced how it plans on testing all of the journalists who traveled aboard Air Force One, last week. Mr. Miller also added how he felt that other potential journalists who might be in danger of contracting the virus, need to get tested too.
