The World Health Organization’s director-general is confronting calls for dismissal amid critiques of how China’s approach to the coronavirus epidemic has been handled.
Nevertheless, questions have been raised in the press over most of the cover-up of China’s liability by the WHO in all this. The Canadian news channel, Rebel News, seems to have a troubling footage of its history and how its relationship with China goes much deeper than it usually believed.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is confronting growing calls to stand down from US lawmakers to ignore official reports by the communist government on the severity of the disease transmission.
On one hand Republican Senator Martha McSally believed the Ethiopian, 55, ‘misled the world’ and also lauded the ‘transparency’ of China during their approach to coronavirus.
However, on the hand she insisted that Dr. Tedros should resign from the ‘Chinese cover-up.’
She further added that, She said that she ‘never trusted a socialist’ and also that the ‘cover up of this virus that emerged from them has triggered senseless deaths in America and the world … I think Dr. Tedros has to step down.’
The senator said in a remark that ‘Dr Tedros saddened the entire world. At one point, amid a mountain of evidence suggesting the regime suppressed the extent of the epidemic, he also lauded China’s ‘transparency during their coronavirus response efforts.’ The deceit is costing lives.
As China reported 17,238 infections and 361 deaths in February, Tedros stated there is no need to place restrictions on travel. Moreover he did not take ‘unnecessarily mess with international travel and commerce’ in attempting to stop the virus outbreak.
He applauded the Chinese government on March 20, saying: ‘For the first time yesterday # China did not announce any domestic # COVID19 incidents. It is an impressive accomplishment which gives us all reassurance that the # coronavirus can be defeated. Furthermore, “China has indeed been accused of dramatically downplaying its official virus reports, with some figures claiming their death toll may be as high as 40,000.
China has reported more than 81,000 cases with more than 3,300 deaths officially till now.
However in Wuhan, wherein the epidemic started, protestors reported funeral homes were giving out 500 urns per day, more than enough for the 2,548 people who had officially dropped dead from the virus.
The senator responded by saying: ‘Once this pandemic is under surveillance, account will be taken by leadership at the WHO. That includes Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who enabled Beijing to deceive the global community by using the WHO.
She tweeted: ‘This was written on January 14th by the WHO,’ and that the coronavirus had ‘not finding clear signs of human-to-human transmission.’
‘The WHO owes the world an clarification of why they have taken China’s word for it. So much misery was incurred by the Chinese’s mismanagement of knowledge and lack of responsibility.
