Wildlife Tragedy Peaks As Zimbabwe Investigates Mysterious Death Of 11 Elephants


Mystery in Zimbabwe is at an all-time high as authorities discover 11 dead elephants.

The country is currently investigating all of the possible mysterious events, relating to the tragedy.

According to reports, there were carcasses observed at the renowned Pandamasue Forest. This destination is situated on the west side of the country. Moreover, it’s present between the Victoria Falls as well as the famous Hwange National Part. As far as causes are concerned, authorities are thinking of possible answers.

For instance, officials ruled out both cyanide poisoning as well as poaching. This is because they simply couldn’t find any relevant details or evidence that supported those findings.

The giant bundle of carcasses caused a stir amongst locals. Meanwhile, it was a rather shocking and disheartening event. Very rare do events like these occur without any possible explanation.

Moreover, the elephants still had their tusks on. This was a sigh of relief as the country remains at the fear of hunters venturing into the world of poaching for valuables.

According to facts from Zimbabwe’s past, there’s always some sort of fear surrounding wildlife. And that relates to the numerous incidents involving poisoning elephants. Yes, the country suffers from cases where hunters poison dozens for their own benefits. Following the incident, they remove their ivory tusks and then flog towards the market for illegal trading.

To help determine the exact cause for this event, authorities are taking plenty of blood samples too.

On the other hand, a spokesperson for Zimbabwe’s national parks, Tinashe Farawo, also took notice of the event. She expressed her sentiments on the occasion. And that’s when she publicly made a statement: ‘We can only determine the exact cause of death after conducting all of the tests. However, we are ruling out cyanide poisoning from the picture.’

At the same time, authorities confirmed how the event only involved elephants. And that meant it didn’t include more wildlife. Meanwhile, authorities do find some similarities with another incident. And that relates to the strange death of 275 elephants in Botswana.
