According to local media reports, the Missouri representative was none other than Cori Bush, who was widely panned out by so many critics after she referred to women as ‘birthing people’ on Thursday.

Bush’s son is named Zio and now that he’s 21 and her daughter Angel is 20, the congresswoman took this opportunity to share her personal experience on how they were both born prematurely.

Again, she took this opportunity to repeat in her gender-neutral language through a tweet how every single day, black individuals are birthing people and their babies are tragically dying because doctors just don’t seem to want to believe in their pain, any longer.”

Within no time, the representative’s terminology was quickly shot down through Twitter with many sending their criticism regarding her choice of words. “Why is she using words like birthing people instead of just saying women or moms,” questioned the majority.
