He says he never checked George Floyd’s ‘fake’ $20 bill. The former cop admits that although Floyd was accused of presenting the fake bill, he actually never really confirmed whether it was true.

Moreover, the shocking incident that shook the world is still receiving plenty of criticism with Black Lives Matter supporters increasing by the second.

Floyd’s accusations included presenting the fake note at a grocery store. And that’s right before police detained him. The 46-year-old victim died after the former police cop, Derek Chauvin, kneeled over his neck. And then he eventually lost all of his consciousness. And for that reason, Chauvin stands behind bars today.

Chauvin is guilty of manslaughter as well as for third-degree murder. On the other hand, Lane faces charges for assisting the murder scene. He is responsible for holding down Floyd’s legs, during the entire arrest episode that took place on May 25th.

Meanwhile, when asked about whether or not he knew that the bill was fake, he claimed, ‘I think it was, but I’m not sure.’ He was more involved in detaining the culprit. Also, it looked as if he was least bothered by the crime itself.
