Star actor Arnold Schwarzenegger referred to Donald Trump as a failed leader who misleads a nation with his countless lies.
In the same way, the celeb branded the US president harshly, claiming that he would ‘go down in history as the worst president ever.’ The startling revelations came in the form of a recent video, posted by the star on Twitter.
Here, the actor recalled all of his childhood memories from Austria.
In the same way, he talked about the lasting impact that the ‘Night of Broken Glass’ left upon so many individuals, including him.For those who aren’t aware, it was a night of sheer rampage, carried out against the Jews in 1938.
The Nazi equivalent of the Proud Boys performed the act, resulting in absolute terror and chaos.
Arnold mentioned how the recent siege on the Capitol in DC was just like the Night of Broken Glass. Not only did the mob break through glass windows, but they also shattered all of the ideas that Americans took for granted.
“The mob trampled all the principles, upon which the US stands today,” he boldly exclaimed.
Meanwhile, Arnold also condemned President Donald Trump for his actions, where he felt the latter ‘mislead people with lies.’ And that was just so he could receive his personal gains via a striking bid to overturn the election results.
“The good news relates to how he will be looked upon as irrelevant and an old tweet,” the actor explained. And that was in relation to the US President’s permanent ban from social media giant Twitter.
Likewise, Arnold called out all of the country’s politicians who ‘enabled his lies as well as his treachery.
’ Adding a quote of Teddy Roosevelt too, the actor said, “patriotism means to stand by the president.” But it wasn’t all bad. The star seems hopeful that the United States of America will shine again someday.
Towards the end of his video message, Arnold wished the new President-elect, Joe Biden, the best of luck for his term. He also wished him great success, while welcoming him with open arms.
