Since Australia has been one of those countries that opted for mass testing, cases of Coronavirus have diminished to a great extent and the Australian populaces are quite happy with that.
It has been noted that South Australia, NT, ACT did not witness any new cases of Coronavirus this weekend. South Australia seems to be getting itself untethered from the terror of COVID-19, and it’s a sigh of relief for everyone waiting to hear some good news.
Just one case of Coronavirus popped up in Western Australia on Sunday and the patient who’s just been diagnosed hails from gold fields. There’s no bulk of patients being admitted to the hospital, there’s no need to build more quarantine centres in Australia as the situation seems to be quite placid.
Seeing the virus slow down, people in Australia have urged their government to scale down on the restrictions imposed earlier. People think it’s time for the lockdown to be eased and liberties for the citizens to be further curtailed.
Since they have been doing a decent job at containing the perilous virus, and its defeat could be foreseen from where Australia stands today, leniency should prevail over the restrictions — this is what most Australians think. A partial lockdown can be in place for sure but a less strict version of it will certainly do no harm.
Despite the fact that the general public have now started asking for a mild lockdown as the situation seems to improve, the experts are still sternly against lifting or easing the lockdown. Many of them believe that the lockdown in all its eternity should prolong till winters.
The experts are not in a favor of making any amendment to the limitations currently in place. They think it’ll be too early to assume that the days of the Coronavirus are numbered. There should be no jumping the gun according to their opinion.
