The poll asked users whether or not they admired some of the most influential personalities. And the list included some pretty big names. Using that information, the poll determined the winners. And it was Barack and Michelle Obama who came out on top. How’s that for some fascinating news?
Unbelievingly, Barack beat out Bill Gates, who came in at a close number two. This is the first time ever that anyone ever dethroned Gates, since 2014. On the other hand, Michelle Obama continued her streak as the world’s most admirable woman. She took the lead over Hollywood starlet Angelina Jolie, just last year.
You might be surprised to learn that Barack Obama is admired by fans in all countries, except for the Russian nation. Similarly, Donald Trump fell one rank downwards, leaving him at number 15. However, his wife, Melania Trump, kept strong at her 19th position.
YouGov explained how Barack Obama leads the race in 22 of the 42 nations polled. This includes the United States of America.
Trump on the other hand is doing well in the United States, Vietnam, and South Africa. He only ranks above Barack Obama in a single country. And that is Russia. Here Donald Trump stands at number 11 while Obama is behind at number 15.
When it comes to the third position, YouGov explained that the Chinese Premier, Xi Jinping, nailed the spot. Moreover, he holds that position from the years 2015 to 2017.
