President Joe Biden’s two German Shepherds are exiting the White House after one of them bit a security guard recently.
Reports confirmed how the 2 dogs belong to both President Joe Biden and his first lady Jill Biden. But it seems like their aggressive behavior won’t be tolerated by the Bidens anymore as one of the dogs named Major bit a security guard.
For this reason, the president felt it was time for their exit from the White House and an entry into the Biden family home in Delaware.
Major was the younger dog of the duo who showed extremes of aggressive behavior towards the White House staff member. Therefore, his biting incident was recorded and deemed unacceptable by all means.
Major who is 3 years old was first adopted by the Bidens household in the year 2018 when the family first laid eyes on him at an animal shelter in Delaware. After President Biden being elected as the head of the state and getting into power, the dogs were also shifted into the White House.
Meanwhile, local news outlets also spoke about how this wasn’t the very first time that the young pup showcased aggressive behavior. On several occasions, his behavior was being noted down. But after behaving in such a way towards a White House staff member, clearly, enough was enough.
On the other hand, President Biden’s other dog, 14-year-old Champ is more composed, due to his age. Experts believe the age factor has slowed him down and that has made the transition process a more smooth-sailing affair for him, as compared to his younger companion Major.
From jumping and excessive barking to charging at officials and guards too- Major was doing it all for a while now. But the biting incident involved a member of the security services team. There are still no details on the nature of the injuries or the specification of the member involved.
