The whole nightmare started in July 2015 when Jay came home, distressed at night after meeting his female friend.

Camellia, Jay’s sister, said that Jay and the girl were in the middle of foreplay, and when he got on top of her she stopped, froze. He got up and started asking her what’s wrong and did he do something wrong. But she just told him to go home. Later on that night Camellia called the girl and put it on speaker so Jay can also hear the conversation. But the girl’s mother took the phone away and said that they reported him with rape.

Afterward, Jay called the police for more information and was told that he is charged with rape, later he went to the station for voluntary questioning.

At the police station, he was treated like a criminal and was released under investigation.

Nevertheless, after two weeks the girl dropped the accusation and there will not be more further actions taken against Jay. However, Camellia thinks that Jay got trauma from this whole situation. She added it was a really big thing to be branded with something you have not done.

Both Camellia and her mother were at home when the police came to tell them that they found Jay. He hung himself on a tree, and they took him to the hospital. They managed to bring him back to life, but he suffered from so much brain damage that he was not there with them anymore.

On the day when he committed suicide, he had brought his favorite energy drink, his favorite bag of crisps, and a length of rope. He was found by a dog walker. When the police arrived, they cut him down. It was a tree where Camellia and Jay used to play when they were kids.
