Hunter Biden sat down for a very personal interview recently, which was right before the release of his upcoming memoir.
During the interview, Hunter answered some personal questions related to his family and dad Joe, which shocked plenty of viewers in the country. One particular question that raised eyebrows was relating to an intervention staged by Biden to prevent Hunter from doing drugs.
Hunter went on to elaborate on the entire fiasco and his drug addiction that took its peak during his father’s 2020 election campaign. Therefore, he explained during his sitdown interview that will air with CBS on Monday how he was still hooked on drugs last year and that was during Joe Biden’s election campaign.
He then went on to recall the exact details of how his father chased him down the driveway, crying, just so he could prevent him from doing drugs.
In addition, his own daughter grabbed a hold of him and kept on saying, “Daddy you can’t leave.” But the only thing on Hunter’s mind was how to get out of the moment and enter his period of high.
His young girls blocked the door, stood in front of his car, and assisted in the entire intervention alongside dad Joe at the family home, which is located in Wilmington.
While he failed to speak in detail about what sort of drug addiction he suffered from, one thing was clear. His father cared for him profusely and that is why he grabbed a hold of him, gave him a big bear hug, and started sobbing too. “I don’t know what to do,” Biden claimed as he held on to Hunter.
Hunter’s latest interview is for the promotions of his new memoir that comes with the title ‘Beautiful Things.” The interview on the other hand will air on CBS on Monday morning with plenty of viewers excited to see what more he has to say.
