Ivanka Trump’s personal assistant has tested positive for coronavirus, according to multiple reports.
The assistant works in a personal capacity for Trump, who also serves as senior adviser to her father, President Trump. Ivanka Trump’s personal assistant has tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, adding to the growing number of White House personnel who have come down with the virus. According to CNN, Ivanka has been teleworking for nearly two months and has not been in contact with her.
Moreover, both Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, tested negative for coronavirus.Her husband also serves as a senior advisor to the president.
Members of white house and people who are in close contact with them are getting coronavirus.The situation is alarming as 11 members of US secret service have recently been tested positive for coronavirus. However, 23 other have also recovered from this illness.
She was not symptomatic and was tested out of caution, a source close to the situation confirmed to the outlet.
The news comes after President Trump confirmed Friday that Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary, Katie Miller, tested positive for coronavirus.She is one of the vice president’s closest aides and is married to Stephen Miller, a close adviser of President Trump.
Trump told reporters that Katie is a wonderful young woman.She was in good health for a long but suddenly she tested positive for COVID-19.
Miller is the second confirmed case of COVID-19, who is a member of the vice president’s office since March.Almost 60 employees are currently in quarantine due to outbreak. All these employees were involved in protecting President and other government officials.
Although, it is not confirmed that any of the infected employee were in a close contact with President Trump or Vice President Mike Pence.
The White House also disclosed this week that a U.S. military official working as Trump’s valet also tested positive for coronavirus. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed to reporters Friday that “We have put in place the guidelines that our experts have put forward to keep this building safe.
