MAGA rioter QAnon Shaman expressed great guilt and regret after Donald Trump failed to issue a pardon to Capitol protesters.
33-year-old Jacob Chansley is currently being held in Phoneix’s prison since the January 6th DC riots, which shook the nation’s capital. The incident left 5 people dead, while dozens wounded when Trump ordered his supporters to march on Congress.
QAnon Shaman is the infamously horned individual who donned a hat with fur and was noticeably outlined due to his bizarre outfit. He stormed into the Senate chamber alongside other rioters, after which he turned himself into officials.
Now, his attorney makes bold claims that he was actually duped by former president Trump who failed to pardon him and other MAGA rioters that marched for his cause.
Attorney Albert S.Watkins says that Trump ‘did not pardon’ his client and that according to him was a huge betrayal. He added how the former president was solely responsible for leading his patriots down the primrose path. But when it came down to pardoning them, he turned away as if they didn’t exist.
Now, the attorney is going viral with his statements and questions how many more MAGA rioters from the January 6th siege will claim the same. Currently, Chansley is in jail and is held without any bail. Moreover, he faces up to 25 years in prison on the basis of Federal charges.
Shaman and his attorney are more or less laying the entire blame on Donald Trump’s feet. Chansley feels great regret for participating in the riots as he feels Trump ‘duped him.’ His lawyer added how Chansley was only following the instructions of the former president.
As of last Friday, 93 individuals were arrested in connection with the US riots, as per DOJ records. But this isn’t the first time the QAnon Shaman received great attention from the press. He was previously called out for going on a hunger strike since the jail failed to serve him a vegan diet.
