Maeve Kennedy Mckean, 40, who happens to be the daughter of Katheleen Kennedy, was spending some quality time with her oldest son at the Chesapeake bay when a humongous tragedy befell both of them.

Apparently, they were searching for a lost ball when they got caught up in a monstrous wind and were never found again. Gideon Mckean was a third-grade student and loved being sporty. It is so unfortunate that the merciless wind didn’t spare this little angel and swallowed his life.

The Coast Guard kept on searching for them alive for a long time but they have recently switched from rescue to recovery. Maeve’s uncle, Robert F Kennedy Jr, took to his Instagram and enlightened everyone about this sad news.

During the forage, the Coast Guard found a slightly damaged canoe that looked similar to the one that was being used by the mom-son duo. This substantiated their death and hence the families were informed immediately about the rescue operation turning into a recovery operation.

Maeve’s husband was baffled to learn about this tragic news and he wrote a heart-wrenching letter in the memory of his wife and son. The Kennedy-Mckean family must have fallen to pieces hearing about the departure of this mom-son pair.
