We, the humans, have long been enduring this pathogen and have paid a huge price to date.
Tens of thousands of people lost the battle against coronavirus and now they are sure to be under the daisies.
Looks like the wrath of the coronavirus knows no bounds. It’s not just the humans that need to steer clear of this deadly disease. Other living creatures need to be equally cautious as this virus seems to be a threat to every life on this planet.
It has been recently reported, a 4-year-old Malayan tigress named Nadia has also fallen prey to COVID-19. Nadia is a resident at the Bronx zoo in New York City, and has been made to go through the essential testings after she was noticed dry-coughing.
The caretakers at the zoo could clearly witness a bunch of changes in her routine; dry-cough and loss of appetite were the prominent signs that coerced them into testing the tigress on an immediate basis.
Once she went through the test, it spilled the beans and now it is known to everyone that she has the virus functioning inside her. Furthermore, it is not just Nadia, the four-year-old female tiger, 6 other animals at the zoo have also been tested positive.
It is apparent that the indignant and deadly virus travels amongst the circles of people really fast. It can pounce anyone and everyone really quick, and you would not be left with enough time to save yourself from the danger it poses. Once you fall prey to it, it would be immensely difficult for you to emancipate.
On top of that, Coronavirus is also endangering Nadia’s sister Azul’s life. She’s also one among those 6 cats who have been tested positive.
The female tiger at the New York zoo is said to have contacted one of the infected workers that passed the virus onto her. One of the personnel initiated this litany of miserable patients which speaks volumes about the criminal negligence by the officials of the zoo who should have isolated their infected staff from the animals in the first place.
