Captain Sir Tom Moore has died from COVID-19 at the age of 100.
The shocking news broke out just moments ago after he was admitted to a local hospital with the Coronavirus, as reported by news outlets. For many, Sir Tom Moore was an inspirational hero as well as the UK’s national treasure. He was also a legendary war veteran who captured so many people’s hearts with his kind-hearted nature and beautiful will to serve humanity.
In the same way, many remember him as a shining beam of light for others during a great many tragedies of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to news outlets, he raised more than 32 million pounds for the National Health Services by walking around 100 laps in his garden, moments before his milestone 100th birthday.
His valuable thoughts and upright beliefs that tomorrow will be a good day is something that many cherish. Those who knew him closely explain his optimism was rare in today’s time. But that is what endeared fans and followers around the globe, be it young or old.
Just last Sunday, his daughter revealed how her father suffered from Pneumonia which lasted for a span of few weeks.
She also added how he had tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.On that note, loved ones rushed the former serviceman to Bedford’s Hospital, located in Bedfordshire, late Sunday night. There it was confirmed how he required great assistance to breathe.
However he was not placed in the intensive care unit, reports confirmed.
And today, news broke out how he passed away peacefully, with his loving and devoted family members by his side.
Captain Tom Moore did not receive a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine because of the fact that he was suffering from pneumonia. Today, loved ones, fans, and followers mourn his death with great grief and utter disbelief.
