White House staff has started turning on one another as Trump’s presidency is coming to an end.
As President-elect Joe-Biden’s inauguration ceremony is just 50 days away, the Trump administration members have started playing the blame game, which seems to be their favorite hobby. Stephanie Grisham is one of the latest victims of this open-ended game. White House insiders held her accountable for the first lady’s picture missing out on a magazine cover to Meghan Markle.
One of the administration’s senior members called this blame “a complete hit piece coming out of nowhere.
” He said he couldn’t understand what is cooking inside the White House, their final days are drawing to a close, and the staff has started putting baseless accusations on one another.“I am trying to find a logic in it, but I am unable to find it,” he added.
Trump loyalists and insiders who are by his side since the beginning said Grisham is responsible for the First Lady’s lack of media coverage.
To support their claim, they cited a recent example when a British magazine Tatler in their September edition featured Meghan Markle on the cover page instead of Melania Trump.Melania’s interview was the part of the magazine which she had given via e-mail.
Trump must have noticed this as the news was published in the New York Post, which seems to be Trump’s favorite newspaper.
This is not the first time we see aides fighting it out against one another; it has been daily news throughout Trump’s era.
Since Trump has lost the elections against Biden, the atmosphere inside the White House had grown austere.Trump’s legal team claimed massive vote fraud and filed cases in 6 central states of the USA, but they lost the legal battle due to the lack of evidence.
We are not sure how many more hit pieces are yet to come as Trump’s tenure is coming to an end. On the other hand, Joe Biden looks all ready for the inauguration ceremony. He had organized his team, and we have also seen cabinet nominees’ announcement from his side.
