TikTok user Melina shared that getting her eyebrows microbladed was the “worst mistake” of her life as she showed her terrible brows four years later.
In the video, Melina exposes that her microbladed brows no longer line up with her natural brows and it also turned into an orange color.
“Don’t do it. Worst mistake I ever made; the removal process is so hard,” Melina regretfully said.
Microblading is a process similar to tattooing. It’s a cosmetic tattooing procedure that fills in thin eyebrow areas, professionals use very small blades to permanently add pigment, giving the impression of fuller or more defined brows.
Melina loves the result of her microbladed eyebrows the first year around, then it started to go wrong and turned red.
Melina says she lost “so much confidence and always HAD to wear make-up to cover it”.
After trying and failing to undo the disastrous brows with laser removal, Melina is now using a different treatment, called “Rejuvi”.
Rejuvi is a process used for tattoo removal. It is a non-laser solution and a unique chemical extraction process. The cream is applied in a similar manner to the original tattoo using a digital micro-pigmentation machine. It involves extracting the pigment from the skin.
Although she still doesn’t know if this treatment will work and will fully remove the botched microblading above her natural brow.
The said video has gone viral and reached 650,000 people, and a lot of commenters say the same thing has happened to them.
“Yes! Same thing happened to me,” one viewer wrote. “They went above my brow and it looks orange now”.
“Same!!! Four years out, thankfully mine are still under hair,” said another. “But orange af”.
“Dude same!!!” a third one wrote. “Mine are red and higher arched than my natural brow.”
Some of the commenters were thankful for the warning.
“Thank you for posting I was actually considering doing this and you’re the only person to give me a reason to think twice,” one commenter said.
